September 2006: | Malaysian personnel commence work on A380 MSN007 and MSN003. | October 2006: | Malaysian personnel included in GKN Aerospace's A320 Continual Product Development team. The aim of the analysis was to determine if the new Extended Service Goals for the A320 could be achieved. Malaysian personnel were tasked with re-assessing and reworking original certification Fatigue and Damage Tolerance analysis. | May 2007: | Commencement of initial work on A380 MSN011. | October 2007: | Successful completion and delivery of A380 MSN007 Rear Spar Certification analysis. This month also saw the first commercial flight of the A380 operated by Singapore Airlines. |
