STRAND was founded in 1997. It has offices in Malvern, England, and Cyberjaya, Malaysia. Customers include Airbus UK, Airbus North America, Messier-Dowty, BAe Systems, WS Atkins Aerospace, Aerosud, GKN Aerospace, GED, Assystems and CTRM. Projects have involved the entire Airbus fleet, as well as military aircraft such as Tornado, Harrier and Nimrod. STRAND has Senior Engineers for Static, Composites, F&DT and FE, each of whom has at least 20 years of experience in their respective discipline. Total staff numbers include both permanent and contract employees (some of whom work offsite), and thus vary, but typically total at least 20. |
