STRAND produced full certification checkstress calculations for the Airbus A340-500/600 and A380-800. STRAND has also done various other work on all other members of the Airbus fleet. The A340-500/600 work was for the front and centre wing spars, and was done for three separate sub-variants of the aircraft. Analysis was performed according to Airbus approved methods and produced typically in Excel or Mathcad. The Mid & Outer Rear Spar was analysed on the A380-800 and written up according to a new Airbus standardised report format.
