Rayven Jay Chinniah

    Rayven Jay has been in the Malaysian aerospace industry since the beginning of his career. After graduating with a BEng. from the University of Manchester, UK and an MSc. from the University of Minnesota, USA, he joined a number of Malaysian aerospace start ups. He has a total of 7 years experience ranging from airships (The Airship Group) to light jets (Aero Nimbus Aircraft). Having been in a start up environment he been exposed to a broad range of aerospace related activities including certification, organisation approvals, design, engineering, market studies, flight operations and maintenance. This has given him a broad insight into the various aspect of the industry both from a technical as well as a business perspective.

Besides his passion for the aircraft industry, he also enjoys teaching. Since 2000 he has served in various universities, both locally and abroad, either as a part time lecturer or external examiner. His close ties with the universities have given him an insight into the inner workings of academia.
